CNC PROGRAMMER

We are hiring CNC Programmer and CNC Operator in Athens, AL Title: CNC PROGRAMMER Location: Athens, AL 35613 Duration: Temp to hire/Full time PAY: $21-$30 DOE 1st shift Monday-Friday - 7am - 3:30 pm JOB SUMMARY: Our client is seeking an experienced CNC programmer with strong Mastercam Skills to support our job shop manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for programming, optimizing, and supporting CNC machining processes for high – mix, low – to medium – volume production environment. The ideal candidate is hands – on, detailed – oriented, and comfortable working closely with machinist and operators on the shop floor. KEY Responsibilities:Program CNC Mills and/or lathes using Mastecam.Develop efficient, machining strategies, including toolpaths, speeds, and feeds.Interpret blueprints, solid models, and GD&T requirements.Support machine set up, prove–outs, and first– article productionTroubleshoot machining and programming issues on the shop floorOptimize cycle times, tool, life, and part qualitySelect tooling, fixtures, and work holding solution solutionsMaintain program, documentation, revisions, and backupsCollaborate with machinists, Operators, engineering, and qualityFollow all safety and quality procedures Required qualificationsHigh school diploma or GED(Technical degree or certification preferred)3+ years of CNC programming experience in a job shop environmentProficient in Mastercam (Mill And/Or Lathe)Strong blueprint, reading, and GD&T Interpretation skillsSolid understanding of machining processes and cutting toolsExperience with CNC controls such as Haas, Fanuc, Or similarAbility to work independently and manage multiple jobs Prefer preferred qualificationsExperience with four – axis or five-axis programmingHands dash on machining or set up experienceExperience with Multiple materials (Aluminum, steel, stainless, plastics)Familiarity with ISO, AS9100, or other quality systemsExperience with fixture design and process planning Physical RequirementsAbility to work on the shop floor is neededAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk long period of timeMust pass a Background & Drug ScreenSteel-Toed Boots Benefits (through CloudRay)Weekly payHealth insuranceIncentives and performance-based bonusesReferral bonusesTemp-to-hire career growth potentialDrug Screening and Background Check will be Required Steel Toe Boots RequiredBenefits (through CloudRay)Weekly pay Health insurance Incentives and performance-based bonuses Referral bonuses Temp-to-hire career growth potential Are you interested? ....
