Teacher/Actor/ Presenter for School Assemblies
Create unforgettable experiences for students!
Prismatic Magic is looking for an energetic and dependable presenter to bring our nationally recognized laser assembly programs to schools throughout New England, primarily Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut.
This is a full-time, year-round position for someone who enjoys entertaining children, working independently, and being trusted to represent a company that has served schools for 25 years.
Our programs combine lasers, music, storytelling, and powerful messages about kindness, character, teamwork, science, history, and more. No laser, technical, or teaching experience is required — we provide complete paid training. Children’s theater or public speaking experience is a plus.
Ideal candidates:
Experience in children's theater, acting, public speaking, presenting, camp programs, youth engagement and leadership, audience facilitation, or working with children is helpful — but the most important qualities are reliability, confidence, responsibility, and strong communication skills.
What you’ll do:
Perform exciting laser assemblies for audiences of approximately 100–400 K-8th students
Bring energy, personality, and enthusiasm to polished scripted presentations
Set up, operate, and pack up a professional portable laser system
Travel directly from home to schools throughout your region
Safely operate a company vehicle while traveling to schools and representing Prismatic Magic independently
Successful presenters are responsible, dependable, comfortable with independence, and take pride in delivering an outstanding experience every time.
About the schedule:
This is a full-time salaried position with a unique school-based schedule. Your salary is paid year-round with consistent pay throughout the year.
Because our schedule follows the school calendar, the workload varies throughout the year. Busy seasons require frequent shows and travel, while slower periods provide a more relaxed schedule. Applicants must maintain weekday availability and be comfortable with a schedule that changes based on school needs.
