Job Title: Texas ACE Site Coordinator- Secondary (2026-2027)Wage/Hour Status: EXEMPTReports to: Texas ACE Project DirectorDept./School: District-wideDate Revised: 4/2026Primary Purpose:Responsible for the day-to-day center operations to ensure program quality and compliance at thecenter-level for students enrolled in the Texas ACE Program, as determined by the Nita M. Lowey21st Century Community Learning Centers (CCLC) Grant.Qualifications:Education/Certification:* Bachelor's degree required* Teaching certification preferredSpecial Knowledge/Skills:Strong communication and interpersonal skills to meet the needs of people from various social, educational, and economic backgroundsStrong organizational and time management skills; ability to meet deadlinesStrong program, administrative and computer skills for record keeping, data entry and schedulingAbility to problem-solve and find solutions in a fast-paced environmentExperience:Working knowledge of local youth/family services and organizationsSupervising children in grades K-12Background in education and/or social work preferredAttitudes/Behaviors:Demonstrates change adeptness; adapts to changing deadlines and the nature of assignmentInitiates and sustains partnerships with campus leaders and community partnersShows initiative in seeking solutions to problemsDemonstrates servant leadershipBuilds an environment of trust; projects credibility with students, staff, and communityProjects enthusiasm and energy in all effortsExhibits honesty and objectivity in professional interactionsDemonstrates considerable poise in all situationsServes as a role modelMajor Responsibilities and Duties:1. Implement the Texas ACE Program, under the direction of the Texas ACE Project Specialist, toincorporate meaningful educational connections to school-day learning.2. Communicate with Campus Administrators, service providers, and other community partners toensure a seamless delivery of services.3. Understand the Texas ACE Vision, Mission, and Objectives; articulate to staff, administrators,students, families, and community leaders as needed.4. Meet regularly with Texas ACE Project Specialist and Grant Director to address program progress,issues, and future needs/direction.5. Maintain a working knowledge of all Texas ACE program requirements.6. Create and monitor program activities to ensure high-quality services are provided to enrolledstudents.7. Monitor student attendance and other pertinent data for compliance with program rules andregulations.8. Coordinate recruitment and enrollment of student participants.9. Create meaningful opportunities to build relationships with parents through monthly family engagement events.10. Provide ongoing support to other Texas ACE staff, including but not limited to, entering into theTX21st database, ordering program supplies, tracking program expenditures, and compilinginformation for the grant.11. Train and develop Texas ACE Afterschool staff through working with Texas ACE Project Specialistand contracted services to assess personnel performance of program staff and develop professionaltraining to address gaps and/or to enhance existing positive traits while fostering a train-the-traineratmosphere.12. Attend all required Texas ACE and Robinson ISD trainings, webinars, conference calls and meetings.13. Ensure a high-quality, safe, and supportive environment for program participants, staff, and partners.14. Establish an environment of success through positive staff morale and program achievement.15. Manage the use of office facilities and program spaces to ensure a clean, orderly, and safe office.16. Be available to work flexible hours to accommodate evening and weekend activities.School/Community Relations17. Attend and be visible at campus, district, and community functions to support the efforts of students,staff, and patrons.18. Articulate the district's mission to the community and solicit its support in realizing its mission.19. Demonstrate awareness of school-community needs and initiate activities to meet those needs basedon the grant.19. Use appropriate and effective techniques to encourage community and parent involvement.Other Duties:20.
