Senior Backend Engineer

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Senior Backend Software Engineer who is looking for a challenge to join our Team. Your primary responsibilities will include architecting and implementing core services that allow our users to manage their Corgi features. You need to be collaborative and committed to building high quality software at speed.ResponsibilitiesExplore, define and develop new technologies and architecture for core CorgiAI servicesImprove upon and build new business-critical features and infrastructureDesign and develop backend and data layers of the software that will run across web and mobile appsCollaborate with cross functional teams to understand customer pain points and come up with solutionsProactively identify opportunities for improving the reliability and scalability of our systemsWork across the engineering team to improve and uphold high technical standardsKey Qualifications6+ years developing software in a production environment at scale, preferably in PythonHigh level experience and understanding of APIs and microservicesStrong experience working on cloud platforms like AWS, GCP or AzureStrong experience working on the backend of a technology productWorking knowledge of GitAbility to conduct technological analyses and researchExperience working with transactional databases (MySQL DB, PostgreSQL), data warehouse (Snowflake, Google BQ) and caching systems (Redis)
