Join the Compass family today! Job Summary Executive Chef — you will work alongside talented professionals in a collaborative and high-volume environment. This role is responsible for leading culinary operations across all areas of the unit, ensuring food production is innovative, efficient, and compliant with safety and sanitation standards. Key responsibilities include menu development, inventory management, purchasing, food cost control, and the leadership and development of culinary staff. Key Responsibilities Establishes and maintains high culinary standards across all food and catering operation; trains, develops, and inspires the local culinary team through strong leadership. Champions Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives, including seasonality, health and wellness, and overall food quality. Evaluates operational performance and trends, implementing strategies for continuous improvement. Maintains a thorough understanding of daily menu offerings and communicates them clearly and accurately to customers. Preferred Qualifications Culinary degree preferred Bachelor\'s Degree in Food Services Technology/Management or related field preferred At least 5 years of progressive culinary or kitchen management experience in a high-volume setting desirable Experience with planning and managing catering events from a culinary perspective Strong leadership skills and desire to work with an industry leader Comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office, Email, and the Internet) Ability to communicate on various levels including management, departmental, customer and associate ServSafe® Certification Apply and Benefits Apply to Compass Group today.
