Youth Sports Official: Soccer
Summary
As a Youth Sports Official for soccer, you will be responsible for officiating youth soccer games, ensuring fair play, and fostering a positive environment for young athletes. This role requires strong communication skills to effectively interact with players, coaches, and parents. Skills in conflict management and experience in the sport of soccer is essential for guiding players in their development and for preventing and resolving disputes on and off the field.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: May include, but are not limited to, the following:
Enforce appropriate official soccer rules and regulations.
Maintain knowledge of recreation and sports event rules and regulations.
Ensure that game fields and equipment are in proper and safe playing condition
Prepare and maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
Build and maintain positive working relationships with co-workers, other District employees, and the public using principles of good customer service.
Perform related duties as assigned.
Prior experience is preferred, but is not required. A strong understanding of the game and prior experience as a player or coach is desired.
A Live Scan background check must be successfully completed prior to employment.
