Parts Administrator – Dallas, TX | Full-TimeAbout the Role Transwest Mobile is looking for a detail-oriented and driven Parts Administrator to join our growing team in Dallas, TX. In this role, you will play a key part in keeping our parts department running smoothly across both our Dallas and Houston markets: from managing inventory and coordinating with suppliers to supporting our technicians and delivering outstanding customer service. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a strong background in automotive or heavy-duty parts, and take pride in keeping operations organized and efficient, we want to hear from you!ResponsibilitiesManage the day-to-day operations of the parts department, including inventory control, order processing, and fulfillmentMonitor stock levels and proactively reorder parts to minimize downtime and avoid overstock situations across both the Dallas and Houston marketsSupervise, support, and train parts staff to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality customer serviceDevelop and implement strategies to optimize inventory levels, streamline workflows, and reduce operational costsBuild and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers; negotiate pricing, lead times, and delivery termsAnalyze sales data and market trends to accurately forecast demand and make informed purchasing decisionsEnsure all department operations remain in compliance with safety standards and applicable regulatory requirementsServe as a knowledgeable resource for customers and internal team members, assisting in parts identification and providing technical guidance as neededPrepare and present regular reports on inventory status, sales performance, and key departmental metricsCollaborate cross-functionally with service and operations teams across both locations to ensure parts availability aligns with scheduling and workload demandsQualificationsPrior experience in a parts administration, parts management, or similar role — preferably within the automotive, commercial truck, or heavy equipment industrySolid understanding of automotive or heavy-duty parts, systems, and terminologyStrong organizational skills with a high attention to detailAbility to analyze data and translate insights into actionable decisionsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills — comfortable working with both customers and internal teamsProficiency in inventory management software and the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)Experience with dealer management systems (DMS) is a plusHigh school diploma or GED requiredAssociate's or bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or a related field, preferredWhat We OfferCompetitive salary: $60,000 – $65,000 annually, based on experienceComprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) retirement planPaid time off and company-observed holidaysMileage reimbursement or company vehicle (where applicable)A supportive team environment with real opportunities for professional growth and career advancementTranswest Mobile is an equal opportunity employer.
