Program and Quality Coordinator

We serve medical device and aerospace clients from concept through build. Our quality systems are certified by Intertek to two standards: ISO 13485, for contract design, engineering, and product development for the medical device industry, and AS9100, for assemblies of electromechanical products for aerospace applications. Our engineering team and assembly floor operate under one roof, giving our clients a single accountable partner across design, verification, and build. *About the Role* You will sit between engineering, quality, and leadership, tracking where every program stands and keeping documentation audit ready. Records, traceability, and follow-through are the work itself. *Responsibilities* *Program and Project Coordination* * Maintain visibility across active programs by tracking timelines, milestones, and deliverables * Proactively surface open items, risks, and blockers to the leadership team * Coordinate project kick-offs, phase transitions, meeting agendas, and action item follow-through * Serve as a reliable coordination point between engineering, quality, and leadership *Quality System Support* * Support day-to-day maintenance of the QMS under ISO 13485 and AS9100 * Maintain controlled documentation, records, and traceability files in a continuous state of audit readiness * Coordinate document review cycles, approval workflows, and version control * Support nonconformance tracking, corrective action follow-up, and effectiveness verification * Manage employee training coordination and maintain complete, accurate training records *Compliance and Contract Adherence* * Monitor active program obligations against quality and contractual requirements * Maintain documentation supporting regulatory submissions, customer audits, and internal reviews * Track and communicate deliverable status and contract milestones to relevant stakeholders *Purchasing, Receiving, and Inventory* * Support purchasing activities including purchase order creation and vendor follow-up * Receive, inspect, and log incoming shipments and materials * Coordinate outbound shipments as needed * Conduct inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records in support of AS9100 compliance *Internal Communications and Operational Support* * Support scheduling, calendar coordination, and meeting preparation for the leadership team * Maintain organized project and operational files across physical and digital systems * Contribute to a culture of clear communication, follow-through, and operational discipline *Qualifications* * 2 or more years of experience in project coordination, operations, or program support * Direct experience in a regulated environment, quality management system, or compliance-driven organization strongly preferred * Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities with a high degree of accuracy and independence * Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional, concise style * Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace required *Details* This is a full-time, onsite position at our facility in Long Beach, California. Receiving, inventory, and physical file management are part of the role, so it is not available remotely. Pay: $27.00 - $33.00 per hour Work Location: In person
