Protein Processing TechnicianLocation: Sanger, CAPay: $17.50 per hourSchedule: Monday – FridayJob SummaryWe are seeking a reliable and motivated Protein Processing Technician to join our team in Sanger, CA. This position plays a key role in producing high-quality pet treats in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and comfortable working on a production line.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate and monitor production equipment used in pet treat manufacturingMeasure, mix, and prepare ingredients according to established formulasWork directly with raw beef, pork, poultry, and fish in the production processHandle, process, and prepare raw proteins in compliance with food safety standardsPackage finished products according to company standardsPerform quality checks to ensure product consistency and complianceMaintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipmentFollow all food safety, GMP, HACCP, and company safety guidelinesAssist with machine setup, changeovers, and basic troubleshootingAccurately complete production and quality control documentationSupport team members to meet daily production goalsQualificationsPrevious experience working in a food manufacturing plant highly preferredExperience handling raw meat products strongly preferredAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbsComfortable working in cold or refrigerated environmentsBasic math and measurement skillsReliable attendance and punctualityAbility to follow written and verbal instructionsWork Environment & RequirementsFast-paced production settingRegular exposure to raw beef, pork, poultry, and fishCold and/or wet working conditionsSteel toe boots requiredMust follow strict safety and sanitation protocols at all timesCompensation & Schedule$17.50 per hourMonday – Friday scheduleOpportunities for growth and advancementIf you are dependable, hardworking, and ready to join a growing team, we encourage you to apply today!Pay Details: $17.50 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
