Whether you will spend your day brainstorming in an office cubicle, operating a crane, running manufacturing equipment or troubleshooting technical obstacles, at CMC, you’ll get the training and support from your team that you need to excel in your role and reach your full potential.What You'll DoTelephone and face to face contact with customers providing recommendations, price/job quoting, and entering sales ordersAssist with maintaining showroom display of products while keeping track of inventory and replenishing stock as neededTrack open sales orders and process tickets to the CMC billing department while maintaining cash drawer and processing cash reportsAttend sales meetings, training and activities; to include performing additional duties as neededPrepare sales orders, detailed quotes, and assist with weekly sales reports while maintaining an expense account/cash drawerEffectively communicate detailed information on products and services provided to both established and potential customersProvide detailed product quotes for construction projectsPerforms rebar material takeoffsUnderstands the scope of work and accurately communicates the information to salesWhat You'll NeedMinimum 3 years sales experience preferred with knowledge of construction related products a plusProficient level of computer skills; MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet Explorer/ChromeDecision making abilities with excellent customer service in verbal and written communicationAble to multi-task in a fast-paced team environment with shifting priorities while staying organized and detailed orientedMust be able to use personal vehicle for occasional deliveries1 or more years of sales experience required; with previous knowledge in Construction industry a plusBilingual Spanish requiredYour EducationHigh School Diploma or GED requiredWe are CMC, a Fortune 500® company at the leading edge of our industry.
