Creates a superior shopping experience for customers.Essential FunctionsAssists in overseeing the functions of the storeStrategizes sales and marketing plans to build revenue opportunitiesIdentifies current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers and other persons in a position to understand service requirementsAssists with management store success and operations by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work resultsAssists in managing store staff job results by recruiting, training, managing, coaching, counseling and disciplining employees; and planning, monitoring, and appraising employee work performanceMaintains operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.CompetenciesSelf-motivated, self-starter with ability to generate desired outcomes with little supervisionKeen understanding of the importance of Customer Service – these are keystones of the Peter Millar experience and the retail environment we serveExcellent PR skillsPositive attitude, great enthusiasm and superior work flexibilityAbility to thoroughly analyze and take action on specific sales reportingEffective verbal and written communication skillsAbility to stand/stoop/bend/walk 8-10 hours during shiftAbility to lift up to 20 pounds periodicallyDesired Education And ExperienceBachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field from an accredited institutionProficient with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.At least 5 years’ experience in retail management, buying or merchandisingProven track record of selling and building relationships with clientsIf you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us!
