We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!The Role Lead end-to-end red team operations, including scenario design, rule of engagement, execution, and post-engagement analysis. Conduct assumed-breach campaigns focusing on evasion techniques and control bypass across various security layers. Research and develop proof-of-concepts and tooling to support offensive operations and tradecraft. Produce executive-level risk narratives, technical reports, and present findings to senior leadership. Mentor junior engineers and establish standards for offensive security methodology and quality. Coordinate multi-party and third-party exercises, ensuring effective risk management and stakeholder alignment.What You'll Need Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience. Minimum of 3 years of offensive or emulation operations experience in large, complex environments. Expertise in at least two domains such as enterprise/web/mobile applications, identity management, cloud security (AWS/GCP/Azure), or network/endpoint security. Proven ability to bypass security controls and achieve objectives safely and within defined rules of engagement. Strong engineering skills with proficiency in languages like Python, PowerShell, or GO, and familiarity with command and control tradecraft. Deep understanding of MITRE ATT&CK framework and experience collaborating with DFIR and Detection Engineering teams.What's On Offer Competitive annual salary ($110,000 - $165,000) plus potential bonus.
