We're looking for a senior IBM Maximo / MAS integration leader based in Latin America to take ownership of complex, multi-system integrations across SAP, middleware, reporting, and field systems.The role at a glanceLocation: Fully remote, LATAM based preferred.Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, US Eastern Time (client facing role)Type: 12+ month contractStart date: June 2026Language: Professional English required (B1 minimum), Spanish What you will do:You'll lead all integration-related technical workstreams, design, development, testing, and deployment across a high-visibility utility transformation. Day to day, this means:Reviewing and validating Functional Designs and Technical Designs, identifying gaps, and driving resolutionArchitecting solutions using the Maximo Integration Framework: Object Structures, Enterprise Services, Publish Channels, Endpoints, Processing Rules, Automation ScriptsOverseeing API development and consumption using REST, SOAP, JSON/XML, and middleware connectorsProviding daily technical direction to integration developers, testers, and cross-functional delivery teamsManaging dependencies across SAP interfaces, middleware, external systems, reporting platforms, and mobile/field toolsLeading technical walkthroughs, design reviews, and defect triage with business SMEs, architects, PMO, and client technical leadsTroubleshooting integration defects, data sync issues, API failures, workflow exceptions, and environmental defectsPartnering with QA to develop integration test cases, validate data flows, and support SIT/UATRequired qualifications7–10+ years hands-on Maximo / MAS technical experienceDeep expertise with Maximo Integration Framework (MIF) at enterprise scaleStrong experience with MAS 8.0 / MAS 9.0, Maximo 7.6, and hybrid migration/upgrade environmentsExpert proficiency with REST APIs, SOAP, JSON/XML, and web service integrationsStrong SQL: procedures, triggers, tuning, validationAdvanced troubleshooting across databases, middleware, integrations, and Maximo configurationsSolid functional understanding of asset/work management, scheduling, and operational reportingProven ability to lead and mentor developers across distributed teamsBachelor's degreePreferred qualificationsIntegration experience with SAP and other boundary systemsPower BI dashboards, Azure Data Factory, and ETL pipeline experienceCloud-native deployment experience (OpenShift, Kubernetes)BIRT reports, KPI dashboards, and service-level analyticsMobile Maximo solutionsUtilities, public sector, or regulated industriesLooking for a senior technical strategist role, not hands-on-only.
