The successful candidate will be a visionary and collaborative leader, responsible for setting the strategic vision of the School in alignment with the institution's goals. This role involves overseeing all operational functions, including faculty hiring and development, enrollment, CCNE accreditation, student success, and fiscal management. The Associate Dean and Director will also be tasked with fostering external engagements, representing the School in various capacities, and leading initiatives to enhance the reputation of the School as a producer of qualified and caring nurses.Applicants must have an earned doctoral degree in nursing or a related field, with the academic background to be a tenured full professor. A minimum of 3 years' teaching experience in a nursing education program, experience in higher education administration, and a strong record of research or scholarship are required. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of transformational leadership, experience in clinical practice, and a history of facilitating student success initiatives. The role demands excellent interpersonal communication, transparency, and the ability to foster effective relationships both within and beyond the School.
