A North San Jose client seeks a highly experienced physical designer passionate about delivering high value, customer specific SoCs for applications like High-Performance Compute, Datacenter, AI/ML, automotive, IoT, 5G. Industry veterans. Fun stuff. Projects covering all the stacks. Work closely with customer, frontend, and integration teams. Complex leading-edge designs. Low power builds. 28nm down to 3nm. Advanced packaging, i.e. Chiplets, 2.5D, 3D-IC. Fast tape outs.A seasoned hands-on MS/BSEE with breadth and depth in the areas below:MS/BSEEExpert handling of Verilog HDL Netlist and Physical Design Libraries.Power analysis. IR-drop. Static Timing Analysis.Physical Verification (PV) and fix PV errors.PrimeTime. PrimePower. Redhawk.Implementation. ICC2. Innovus.Flat and Hierarchical layouts.Scripting (Perl/Tcl/Python).Able to explain processes and answer customer questions during meetings.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze and resolve physical design challenges.Location: San Jose, CA.
