Franchise Training Manager

General SummaryMidas is seeking a dynamic, results-driven, Training Director to lead and elevate our comprehensive learning and development initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for empowering our franchise network and field teams by designing, delivering, and managing high-impact training programs. From leading in-person operations classes to managing our digital learning landscape and supervising dedicated training staff, you will ensure our network maintains the highest standards of automotive service and business excellence.Primary ResponsibilitiesLead and facilitate Midas Operations Training classes specifically tailored for Midas franchisees and managers, focusing on operational efficiency, profitability, and brand standards.Partner with corporate vendors and automotive parts/equipment suppliers to coordinate, vet, and oversee external technical and product training classes for the network.Supervise, mentor, and guide a Midas Field Training Specialist, aligning their field initiatives with overarching corporate training goals.Oversee the day-to-day administration, user management, and reporting of the online Midas Training Academy platform (LMS).Design, develop, and update engaging instructional materials for both Instructor-Led Training (ILT) and e-Learning Training (ELT) modules, ensuring content remains modern and relevant.Manage and coordinate participant enrollment, logistical instructions, scheduling, and prerequisites for all training events and classes.Ensure that training expenses are monitored and maintain budgeted levels. Qualifications5+ years of experience in training management, instructional design, or corporate learning environments, preferably within the automotive, franchise, or retail service industries.Strong experience administering Learning Management Systems (LMS) and using e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Premiere Pro, Camtasia and / or A.I. course generation software. Proven track record of managing and developing direct reports or field-based training personnel.Exceptional public speaking, presentation, and classroom management skills, with the ability to engage franchisee business owners.Occasional overnight and international travel is required.
