PKI Lifecycle Management SME - 100% Remote - USA

A large global brand are seeking an experienced PKI Certificate Lifecycle Manager to support and enhance enterprise Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) operations across multi-cloud environments.The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing PKI platforms, TLS/SSL certificates, cloud-native security services, and certificate automation in large-scale enterprise environments.This will be an initial 3-6 months+ contract with extensions available.This position can be worked 100% remotely from Central or East coast in the USA.Key Responsibilities:Manage the full lifecycle of digital certificates, including issuance, renewal, revocation, deployment, and expiration monitoringSupport enterprise PKI environments and certificate authorities (CAs)Administer and optimise certificate lifecycle management platforms such as Venafi, DigiCert, Keyfactor, or similar toolsIntegrate PKI services across cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)Implement certificate automation using APIs, scripting, and orchestration toolsMonitor certificate compliance, security policies, and operational healthTroubleshoot certificate-related issues impacting applications, APIs, load balancers, Kubernetes clusters, and cloud servicesSupport TLS/SSL implementation for web applications, internal services, VPNs, and cloud-native workloadsRequired Qualifications:5+ years of experience in PKI, certificate management, or cybersecurity engineeringStrong understanding of PKI concepts, TLS/SSL, certificate authorities, and cryptographyExperience with certificate lifecycle management platforms such as: Venafi, DigiCert, Keyfactorm, Sectigo, AppViewXHands-on experience with cloud platforms: AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP)Experience automating certificate management using: PowerShell, Python, Bash, REST APIsFamiliarity with Kubernetes, containers, ingress controllers, or service mesh technologiesKnowledge of security best practices and zero trust architectures
