Etc EOS Augment3d & QLab programmer

PAID FREELANCE JOB — ETC EOS / AUGMENT3D & QLAB PROGRAMMER — LOS ANGELESWe are looking for an experienced ETC Eos / Augment3d programmer who also has strong knowledge of QLab and QLab-to-Eos integration for an upcoming professional theatrical illusion production in Los Angeles.Project: Beyond IllusionPerformance dates: September 19 and 20, 2026Venue: The Luckman Theatre at Cal State LAThe selected technician will help us:• Create an accurate 3D model of the stage and performance space in ETC Augment3d• Import or build the stage architecture, scenery, LED screens and other production elements• Position and patch the lighting fixtures inside the model• Work with our existing ETC Eos show information and lighting plans• Help coordinate or integrate the lighting cues with QLab, including OSC, MIDI or timecode if appropriate• Test the model and confirm that it can be used for previsualization and programming before the show• Help organize and troubleshoot the final cueing workflowRequired experience:• Professional experience programming ETC Eos-family consoles• Demonstrated experience building theatre models in Augment3d• Strong working knowledge of QLab• Experience connecting QLab and Eos through OSC, MIDI or timecode• Experience with moving lights, LED screens and theatrical productions• Ability to work from theatre drawings, lighting plots, measurements, photographs and fixture informationSome model-building and preparation may be completed remotely, but Los Angeles-area availability and the ability to work with our production team in person are strongly preferred.This is a paid freelance position.
