Job Summary: We are seeking a friendly and outgoing Host/Hostess to join our team. As a Host/Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Your main responsibility will be to greet and seat guests, ensuring their needs are met throughout their dining experience. Duties: - Welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor - Escort guests to their tables and present menus - Provide accurate wait times and monitor the waiting list - Answer phone calls and assist with reservations - Manage guest flow to ensure efficient seating and service - Communicate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations - Assist with cleaning and organizing the host/host station - Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly - Bussing and ensuring the table is clean before seating guests Experience: - Previous experience using POS systems preferred - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Strong hospitality and customer service skills - Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and grace - Familiarity with phone etiquette and taking reservations - Knowledge of hotel or restaurant guest services is a plus If you are a team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, providing exceptional customer service, we would love to hear from you.
