Job DutiesStart Date: 02/20/2026End Date: 11/05/2026Work hours: 55 hours/week, Monday - Saturday: 9-10 hours/day, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.Must Apply By: 06/30/2026Job Duties: Care and maintenance of large-scale beekeeping equipment; operate trucks and forklifts that may be used in moving equipment, and lifting/carry supers of honey daily; help assemble and paint boxes; feed and medicate beehives; perform honey extraction; stand for long periods of time in any weather condition (temperatures may reach above 90 degrees at times during harvest); work in a team environment and take instruction well; find and cage queens, install queen cells; assemble bee hives, insert honeycomb of bees into hives; force bees from hives; uncap harvested honeycombs; move bee boxes.Minimum Education RequiredNone. No High School Diploma or GED required.Minimum Experience RequiredThree (3) months recent and verifiable experience with references required as a beekeeper.May not have bee, pollen or honey-related allergies.Must be able to obtain a driver's license following hire and obtain clean driving record.Must be able to lift 60 lbs.Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts (Updated 03/24/2025).
