We come from the brand side and have built and led operations for companies like Steve Madden, Prada and Nice Laundry. We leverage the latest technology to support our high growth brands and their daily operations. Outerspace provides a number of services including, but not limited to, warehousing and fulfillment, customization and light manufacturing, and product photography. We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Fulfillment Center Supervisor to join the team. The Fulfillment Center Supervisor leads all daily warehouse operations - both inbound and outbound - in a high-volume e-commerce and 3PL environment. This includes accurate receiving, quality inspection, put-away, inventory control, and ensuring high-volume orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on time. This role supervises warehouse teams, maintains safety and efficiency standards, and manages labor against daily volume demands. A successful candidate is someone who is driven, determined, and committed to a high level of operational excellence and customer satisfaction. They are collaborative, demonstrate strong communication skills, and are detail oriented.Reports to: Senior Operations ManagerCompensation: $65,000 - $75,000 DOEResponsibilities:Oversee receiving, unloading, staging, verifying, and put-away activitiesEnsure accurate inspection and documentation of inbound shipmentsCoordinate receiving priorities with customer SLAs and shipment schedulesManage discrepancies (overages, shortages, damages), perform root-cause analysis, and follow up on resolutionCreate and manage daily inbound schedules based on shipment volumeSupervise and lead warehouse associates responsible for outbound order fulfillment (picking, packing, shipping)Monitor daily workflow and assign tasks to ensure timely and accurate processing of e-commerce ordersAdjust labor and workflows in real time based on order volume, carrier cutoffs, and SLA requirementsHandle escalations related to missed cutoffs, order discrepancies, or carrier delays, supporting management as neededUse WMS and RF scanning tools for inbound and outbound transactions and real-time visibilityTrack and monitor KPIs including receiving cycle time, put-away accuracy, dock turnaround, order accuracy, units per hour (UPH), on-time shipment, and labor productivityProvide daily performance reporting to the Operations Management TeamIdentify bottlenecks and implement process improvements to increase speed and accuracyEnsure compliance with company policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs)Work closely with Inventory Control, Customer Service, Transportation, and other cross-functional teamsLead team huddles, performance reviews, and safety briefingsSupport cross-training and peak season surge planningPerform other general warehouse duties as neededSafetyEnsure work areas are safe to operate inDaily safety walks, callouts, and observationsCoach on poor safety behaviors and encouraging good safety practicesMaintain cleanliness and housekeeping of work areasComply with all OSHA and warehouse safety rules and guidelinesPeople Management:Communicate and engage with teammates, team leads, and managers dailyTraining, coaching and mentoring associatesMaintain daily attendance of associates, including timeclock adherenceEnsure associate compliance with all company rules, policies and guidelinesResolving and mediating conflicts or interpersonal issues within teams, and escalating complex issues to management as neededQualifications and Education Requirements:High School Diploma / GED required; associate or bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, or a related field preferred.2-5 years of warehouse or fulfillment center experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory roleProficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, handheld android devicesStrong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency and attention to detail.Comfortable with physical demands including standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs.Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as neededProficient with technology and software, such as Google Suite, Microsoft Office, SlackBilingual (English, Spanish), strongly preferredBenefits:Paid Time OffPaid HolidaysInsurance (medical, dental, vision)HSA & FSA401(K) matchingand more!Outerspace will never extend a job offer without first conducting a formal interview process, which includes multiple virtual and/or in-person interviews.
