Sr. Distinguished AI Engineer

This organization is renowned for its innovative use of machine learning to create real-time, personalized customer interactions, backed by significant investments in technology infrastructure and world-class talent.The Role Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-powered products that enhance customer and associate experiences. Design, develop, test, deploy, and support AI software components including foundation model training, LLM inference, and guardrails. Leverage a broad stack of Open Source and SaaS AI technologies including AWS Ultraclusters, Huggingface, VectorDBs, and PyTorch. Invent and implement state-of-the-art LLM optimization techniques to improve performance of large-scale production AI systems. Contribute to the technical vision and long-term roadmap of foundational AI systems.What You'll Need Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI, Electrical Engineering, or related field with at least 10 years of AI/ML development OR Master's with at least 8 years. At least 10 years of experience programming with Python, Go, Scala, or Java. Experience deploying scalable and responsible AI solutions on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Gooogle Cloud, Azure). Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor engineering teams and influence cross-functional stakeholders. Passion for staying abreast of the latest AI research and applying novel techniques in production.
