We deliver secure, high-quality language solutions in more than 80 spoken and signed languages for USCIS and other federal agencies.We are seeking Kyrgyz Over-the-Phone Interpreters (OPI) to support our USCIS contract.ResponsibilitiesProvide real-time Kyrgyz ︎ English telephonic interpretation for USCIS interviews, hearings, and official proceedings.Interpret accurately, neutrally, and professionally in immigration and legal contexts.Maintain strict confidentiality in line with USCIS/DHS interpreter standards.Handle both scheduled and urgent/surge interpretation requests.Participate in training, compliance refreshers, and quality assurance reviews.QualificationsNative or near-native fluency in Kyrgyz and English.2+ years of professional interpreting experience (immigration, community, legal, or government preferred).Strong knowledge of interpreter ethics, confidentiality, and cultural awareness.Excellent telephone communication skills; ability to remain accurate under pressure.Must be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident eligible for Tier 3/Tier 5 federal clearance.Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive pay: $28–35/hour (rare-language premium).Remote work with secure USCIS-approved platforms.Paid training and professional development.Steady workload under a federal contract.Career advancement opportunities in quality assurance or linguist leadership.How to ApplySubmit:Resume / CV highlighting Fulani interpreting experience.Certifications (court, medical, community interpreting credentials preferred).Availability for full-time or contractor roles.Apply at: careers@globallanguagesystem.com Subject line: Kyrgyz OPI Interpreter Application – USCIS ContractThis is a remote position.
