Requisition ID 33667BR Work Location El Paso Org Level 1 Texas Tech Unv Hlth Sci Ctr El Paso Campus HSC - El Paso Department Psychiatry Dept Elp Genl Major/Essential Functions Provides direct patient care by evaluating, diagnosing, and treating the full spectrum of mental health conditions using a variety of psychotherapeutic treatment modalities within a multidisciplinary setting Provides consultation to faculty and learners concerning clinical assessment findings and appropriate treatment plans for patients Provides crisis-intervention support, as needed Assumes professional responsibility for their clinical assessment findings, patient care decisions, and clinical documentation Teaches and supervises psychology interns, psychology post-doctoral trainees, residents, fellows, and medical students in both clinical and classroom settings Engages in advancement of scientific knowledge through research and/or scholarship Serves the academic community through participation in institutional governance, such as committee work Contributes to the community through academically-related public service complimentary to the institutional mission Ensures compliance with HIPAA and billing regulations Adheres to institutional and departmental policies and procedures Demonstrates professionalism in accordance with the Paul L.
