Account Payable Coordinator

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial concepts and possess the ability to manage accounts payable and payroll functions efficiently. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payment to vendors, as well as maintaining compliance with tax regulations. The successful candidate will work closely with the accounting team to ensure seamless operations. Responsibilities: - Manage and process accounts payable transactions, including vendor invoices and payments. - Ensure accurate and timely payment to vendors and maintain vendor relationships. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the general ledger accounting system. - Perform data entry tasks to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial transactions. - Manage payroll functions, including processing payroll, calculating taxes, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. - Utilize Kronos and Ceridian to manage payroll and time-off requests. - Process and manage payroll deductions using Quicken. - Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. - Provide support with financial reporting and analysis. - Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures. Experience: - 5+ years of experience in accounts payable or payroll management. - Strong understanding of financial concepts and general ledger accounting. - Experience with tax preparation and compliance. - Proficiency in data entry and financial software applications, including Workday. - Experience with payroll management and time-off request systems, such as Kronos. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks. - Excellent organizational and analytical skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - High attention to detail and accuracy. - Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive financial information.
