Order Processor
POSITION DESCRIPTION
The primary role of the Service Center Order Processor includes but is not limited to; order fulfillment, order preparation, processing returns/repair and basic inventory functions like checking returned tools over for possible repairs needed and receiving consumables from our vendors and adding them to our inventory.
This position includes tooling and uniform onsite.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
High School diploma or equivalent, must also be 18 years old
1+ years of customer service experience
Preferred
6+ months previous warehouse experience
Experience with Construction based equipment and consumables
Skills
Ability to perform basic mathematical skills, read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos and write short correspondence and memos.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving variables in standard situations
Simple computer skills required for minimum job functions of service center operations
Proficiency in Microsoft applications
Customer service and problem-solving skills
Excellent organizational skills and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail
Ability to organize and prioritize responsibilities
Good verbal and written communication
Ability to function as an integral team member, working under time constraints and meeting deadlines in a changing environment

OFFICE AND TRAVEL
Occasional travel to job sites, but very limited
RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
Order Processing (95% of time)
Prepare customer orders
Picking orders and organizing the orders for deliveries
Fill all orders accurately and within prescribed time
Secure substitution requests as needed
Communicate back orders
Jobsite returns and receipts
Process returns from jobsites accurately and within prescribed time
Count incoming articles to verify receipt and put away in assigned location
Notify job sites if there are discrepancies on returns
Mark identifying codes on articles as needed
Inspect tools as they come back from jobs for possible repairs needed
Strongly adhere to all best-in-class safety practices.
Assist other team members in different areas when needed, and when qualified to perform task
Receiving of consumables and stocking shelves
Clean and organize work area
Other Duties as assigned (5% of time)
Participate as an active member of the Six Side Supply Team. Contribute to shared goals and collaborate with colleagues on achievement of priorities.
Collaborate with internal teams, contractors and other stakeholders to align efforts. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Other duties as assigned.

Position involves standing for a period of time and sitting to complete desk work. Employee needs to be able to lift up to 50 pounds as frequently as needed to move objects; dexterity to write and manipulate computer keyboard and mouse; ability to hear and speak clearly; and ability to distinguish between colors on graphs and charts.
Occasionally, employee will be required to visit construction jobsites which may expose the employee to dirt, dust, uneven surfaces, outdoor weather conditions and extreme temperatures.
In alignment with our commitment to pay transparency, the base salary range for this position is $18.70 to $32.16/hr excluding fringe benefits or potential bonuses. Please note that the range provided above reflects the hiring range for this role. Hiring near the top end of this range would be atypical, as we aim to allow room for future salary growth.
