Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus availableOpportunity:Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab TechJob Details:• Work with average daily census of 30 patients• Call required 1-2 weekdays per week• Weekend coverage every 3rd or 4th weekend• Must have 2 years of experience in specialty• First-time travelers accepted• Required certifications: ACLS, ARRT R or RCIS, BLS, and LA State License• Must be over 65 miles from facility (address on driver's license to site address)• Compact or LA license required in hand upon submittal• Strict no call-in policy enforced• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures• Skills include angioplasty, cardiac stent placement, hemodynamic monitoring, fluoroscopy, IABP placement/removal, pacemaker insertion, and various other cardiac procedures• Maintain equipment and inventory, stock supplies• Must be comfortable with emergency team assignments during facility emergency events• AHA certifications required• Orientation held 5 days a week with billable modulesFacility:This medical center is a comprehensive healthcare facility featuring 300 beds and a robust cardiac catheterization lab program.
