Culinary Instructor

Responsibilities: Instruct children ages 5-10 in engaging culinary on Thursdays from 3:15 - 5:15 PM (two classes, 1 hour each). Ability to communicate with a diverse group of teachers and students. Engage, encourage, and motivate students to reach their goals. Evaluate student performance and make recommendations for improvement. Provide a fun and creative environment. Requirements: Must be able to commit to two weekly classes from October - January, but preferably through May. Must be comfortable instructing children in learning a simple recipe each class. While curriculum planning is not necessary, we require that the lead instructor purchase the ingredients for the recipe before class and bring them to class. Expense reimbursement will be provided for the ingredients. Qualifications: Previous teaching experience required. Interest / experience in culinary arts or passion for cooking & baking. Excellent communication skills. Energetic, driven, creative, and dependable. Demonstrate patience and leadership skills.
