Maintenance Administration/Logs & Records TechnicianThe Maintenance Administration/Logs & Records Technician will provide Contract Maintenance Support (CMS) as an integrated part of the Maintenance Administration effort to support the unit's flight hour/training goals. This is an Aircraft Logs & Records Technician position.General:Possess a minimum of five (5) years Aviation experience (U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) 6046).Possess a working knowledge of the Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP and Periodic Maintenance Information Cards (PMIC).Observe personal safety and line precautions around aircraft and workspaces.Work will be on a government installation; therefore, you must be cleared for access.Essential Functions:Work, cooperate and communicate, as directed, with supervisors, team leaders and coworkers satisfactorily. This includes the professional, mature acceptance of constructive criticism.Possess an extensive working knowledge of Naval Aviation Logistics Command Management Information System (Organizational Maintenance Activity) (NALCOMIS/OMA), Configuration Management, and DECKPLATE.Perform all Maintenance Administration functions.Maintain aircraft Logbooks and Records.Monitor, control, and administer the Maintenance Data System.
