Speech Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow - Parker

Come join us as a Speech Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow at Soar Autism Center! Soar is building a network of interdisciplinary clinics where children with autism and their families receive life-shaping services that support them to thrive. We prioritize early intervention, comprehensive supportive services, and positive, developmentally-appropriate learning that meets the needs of each unique child and family. Specifically, we focus on an integrated autism care model tailored to young children with autism.What You'll Do:Serve as one of our on-site Speech Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow and plan and implement naturalistic speech therapy for young children ages 1-5 years old in a center-based settingReceive hands-on experience under the mentorship of seasoned SLPsConduct multidisciplinary assessments and create treatment plans in coordination withother clinical specialties (BCBAs, OTs, psychologists)Develop communication interventions for young clients, including but not limited to AACdevices, to support client communicationBe a part of an interdisciplinary care team, specifically collaborating with BCBAs, RBTs,occupational therapists, and mental health professionals to plan and implement effectiveprograms for young kids, including co-treatments with the occupational therapy teamMonitor client progress, update treatment plans and goals, and communicate neededchanges to team members and familiesPartner with client families to develop goals, build relationships, communicate progress,and coach and support them in their journeyQualificationsDesire to be a part of an organization working to advance the standard of autism therapyMaster's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited programLicense to practice speech pathologyPrior experience with AAC or interest in learning from our clinical teamsEmbody a playful spirit and the ability to connect and engage with young childrenClinical Fellows must hold a provisional Colorado license by their start date at Soar.What You'll GetMentorship with experienced SLPs to guide you through your clinical fellowshipQuality medical ($0 deductible), dental, and vision plansA company 401K with company contribution after a year of service11 company holidays plus 15 additional days offOptions for 4x10 or 5x8 work schedules for full time SLPsA "Time for You" program to take extra time off work when you need itShort-term disability for all staff covered by SoarStudent loan reimbursement assistanceReceive trainings and continuing education, and work with national experts in speech therapyReal multidisciplinary collaboration with a team of other autism care professionals.
