Maintenance Mechanic

Mont Du Lac Resort in Superior, WI is looking for one maintenance mechanic. We are located on 3125 S Mont Du Lac Dr., Superior, WI. Role Overview: Responsible for maintenance at Mont Du Lac Resort. Performs skilled work in including, maintaining and/or repairing chairlift, tows, conveyors, snow making equipment and their related systems and other duties as assigned by management. Willing and able to perform in severe and inclement weather conditions and terrain for sustained periods. Experience working at elevated levels with little to no fear of heights. Preferred Experience: Perform basic equipment diagnosis for both electrical & mechanical issues. Must understand single and 3-phase 110–480-volt system. Troubleshoot, test and repair of low voltage systems. Disassemble/reassemble equipment such as gearboxes, cylinders, pumps, valves, etc. and repair/replace worn or defective parts. Troubleshoot, install, and repair ac/dc motors, starters, relays, and drives. Install new equipment and understand technical manuals, read blueprints and how to purchase replacement parts necessary to make equipment repairs. Perform preventive maintenance per planned schedules. Clean and lubricate machinery. Inspect equipment operating conditions. Identify root causes of equipment problems. Education/Experience: The Ideal candidate will be either a graduate of an industrial apprenticeship program or 2-year technical school with at least 3 years industrial experience or have a minimum of 5 yrs. experience as a maintenance electrician/mechanic in an industrial manufacturing facility. Job Type: Full-time position. Pay: $24-$28 Pay will be determined based on experience.
