Job Title: Official ScorerThe Long Beach Coast is seeking a Baseball Scorer to serve as the official scorer during all home games. This role works closely with umpires, league staff, and Baseball Operations to ensure accurate and consistent live game reporting throughout the PBL season.What You'll Do:Serve as the official scorer for all home gamesUpdate Presto with real-time game data and resultsRecord scoring decisions in accordance with official PBL rulesCommunicate with umpires, league staff, and Baseball Operations to ensure accuracy and consistencyWhat You BringExceptional knowledge of baseball rules, scoring procedures, and game flow, with the ability to make sound judgment calls when neededHigh attention to detail with the ability to score live game action accuratelyPrevious baseball or softball scoring experience at the high school, collegiate, or professional level preferredAvailability for all home games throughout the season, including nights, weekends, and holidaysCompensation:Hourly Rate: $16.90Location: Long Beach, CAAbout Innovation Baseball Partners:Innovation Baseball Partners (IBP) is an ownership group and operating company focused on building a portfolio of independent minor league baseball teams.
