Kitchen Cook Crew Member (4505, Pearl City Gateway)

HI Steaks is looking for those who are passionate about cooking and serving fresh high quality food. This person will be expected to be the main chef on each shift. Ensuring that every plate out the door is made with high values, tastes amazing, and presented with care. Additional duties may include assembling orders at the counter and cashiering to help the team. Individuals must have a passion in what they do that shines through in their final product to our guests. **This is a cross-trained position with cashier and order assembly duties** Qualifications: High school education or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous kitchen and cooking experience in a restaurant, kitchen or cafe environment, preferred. Familiar with cooking techniques and cook times, preferred. Understands the basic knowledge of proper food rotation to ensure freshness of product. Must comply with all company policies and requirements Must possess valid TB Clearance. Shifts are based on operation hours of 10am-8pm. Current shift availabilities include the following: FT Closing Shift: 1pm-8pm/9pm depending on closing PT Closing Shift: 3pm-8pm/9pm depending on closing Open to discussion on earlier shifts starting at 10am/11am HI Steaks is Hawaii’s favorite steak plate, seasoned to perfection with our signature rubs and sauces.
