DevOps Engineer

Job Title: DevOps Engineer📍 Location: Sunnyvale, CA📍 Work Type: Hybrid (3 days onsite per week)💼 Type: Contract (W-2 Only)📅 Experience: 5–8 yearsAbout the RoleWe are seeking a self-motivated DevOps Engineer who can operate independently and quickly ramp in a fast-paced environment. This role focuses on building scalable infrastructure, improving deployment processes, and enhancing system reliability.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport zero-downtime deployments through continuous delivery practicesCollaborate cross-functionally with engineering, QA, and security teamsBuild self-service tools to improve developer productivityProactively monitor systems and resolve issues before customer impactDrive long-term solutions from production issues and on-call insightsContribute to microservices architecture designKey ProjectsMaintain and upgrade core technologies (Java, Gradle, Scala)Deploy and manage scalable, fault-tolerant infrastructureImplement monitoring and alerting for critical servicesExecute and analyze performance testingRequired QualificationsStrong programming/scripting skills (Python preferred)Experience with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/EKS, Fargate)Cloud platform experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure) with Infrastructure as CodeExpertise in monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Splunk, Datadog)Strong troubleshooting skills in large-scale production environmentsExperience with distributed systems, JVM applications, NoSQL, and networking tools
