Skilled Laborer

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Skilled Laborer to support a variety of residential and/or commercial construction projects. This role requires hands-on experience, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a crew to complete projects safely, efficiently, and to quality standards. Responsibilities: Perform excavation, trenching, grading, and backfilling operations Assist with site clearing, erosion control, and drainage installation Operate or support operation of heavy equipment and hand tools Read grade stakes, site plans, and layout markings Ensure proper compaction and soil placement Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site Follow safety regulations and project specifications Qualifications: Experience in earthwork, site work, or heavy civil construction Knowledge of soil types, compaction methods, and drainage principles Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions Strong attention to detail and safety awareness Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Benefits: On-the-job training Paid time off Work Location: In person
