Material Handler - 1st ShiftWe bring you Tomorrow's opportunity, today.Volt is immediately hiring Material Handlers in Sandusky MI, 48471Four-day work weekConsistent 1st shift scheduleOvertime opportunities availableAs a Material Handler, you will:Load, unload, move, stage, and transport materials, parts, and supplies throughout the plant, yard, or worksite.Read work orders, shipping documents, and verbal instructions to support material handling, inventory, and distribution activities.Receive incoming shipments, verify accuracy against purchase orders and packing slips, inspect for damage, and process materials for storage or distribution.Stock, locate, retrieve, and maintain inventory to support production and shipping requirements.Assemble, package, label, and prepare customer and production orders for shipment.Safely operate material handling equipment, including:Forklifts (Hi-Lo)Order Pickers (Wave Equipment)Pallet JacksOther warehouse equipment as assignedMaintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment while following company policies and proceduresThis is a full-time opportunity.Schedule:1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday through Thursday Overtime may be required on Fridays and ideal candidate will have:High school diploma or equivalent requiredPrevious material handling experienceAbility to operate forklifts (Hi-Lo) and Wave/Order Picker equipment.Valid State Driver's License required.Strong organization and attention to detail.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Ability to follow written and verbal instructions to work overtime and extended hours as business needs require.Pay Rate: $17.86 per hour*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
