Located just outside the Madison area, this organization offers a nimble, low-bureaucracy environment where decisions are made quickly and leaders have direct visibility and impact on the operation.This is a true "reset" opportunity, ideal for a proactive leader who thrives in less structured environments and is motivated to build systems, raise accountability, and improve overall equipment reliability. You'll lead a team of technicians while driving the shift from reactive maintenance to a more structured, preventative approach in a high-utilization production facility.Compensation & Benefits:Salary: $115,000 - $135,000Bonus Package: 10-15%Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, Holiday Pay, 401K, Long-term Disability, Short-term DisabilityKey Responsibilities and Goals:Own day-to-day maintenance operations across all shifts, prioritizing work through the CMMSLead, coach, and develop a team of 6 technicians, driving accountability and technical growthBuild and strengthen preventive and predictive maintenance programs to improve uptimeTroubleshoot and resolve equipment issues across automated production and packaging linesEstablish and track key performance metrics including downtime, PM completion, and repeat failuresPartner closely with production to align maintenance with operational needs and food safety standardsCompetencies Needed For Success:5-10+ years of maintenance leadership experience within a manufacturing environment (Manager or strong Supervisor level)Hands-on experience with packaging and production equipment such as FFS, case packers, conveyors, and palletizers or similarProven ability to improve PM systems and move operations from reactive to preventative maintenanceStrong troubleshooting capability paired with the ability to lead change, drive accountability, and improve team performance in a less structured environmentReferrals are our best source for the top talent our clients need so if you know of anyone with these skills in the food and beverage industry, please pass along their name and contact information, or share this job posting with them.
