Job Description Minimum 1+ years Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.Support students in an elementary special education setting in Englewood, CO, with a paraprofessional role designed for candidates experienced in SPED classrooms. This contract position starts ASAP and continues through May 22, 2026, offering approximately 36.25 hours per week at one elementary school location. Flexibility is essential, as assignments may change to different schools or age groups based on district needs.Key Responsibilities:Assist students in classrooms with significant and severe special education needs.Provide support with daily activities, including toileting and diapering as required.Maintain punctual attendance, reporting by 7:40 AM for elementary school duties.Comply with district policies including immediate fingerprinting after offer acceptance.Adapt to reassignment across various school sites and student age groups when necessary.Qualifications and Experience:Minimum of one full year of experience working in SPED classrooms.Experience with significant/severe caseloads is strongly preferred.Reliable personal transportation is required (public transit or ride shares not acceptable).Ability to pass a background check with no felony or misdemeanor charges.Must provide two completed Professional RefAssured references prior to consideration.Candidates must be located within a reasonable commuting distance.Additional Information:Questions about specific caseloads or school placements will be addressed only after candidates are assigned.Candidates should expect to work under a closing rate of $25 or less.This position requires a commitment to flexibility and professionalism in varied educational environments.Qualified professionals with confirmed references and availability to start immediately are encouraged to apply.
