Human Resources Coordinator
*Summary*
The Human Resources Coordinator for Cascade Corporation, Springfield, OH combines traditional HR responsibilities with a significant emphasis on talent acquisition. This position will drive recruiting strategies, manage full-cycle hiring processes and support other human resources functions such as employee relations, performance management, and training initiatives.
*Job Responsibilities*
Manage end-to-end recruitment processes from sourcing and screening candidates to coordinating interviews and recommending selection of candidates.
Develop and execute effective talent acquisition strategies to attract top talent. Continually assess and improve recruitment processes, ensuring a high standard of talent acquisition. Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through proactive sourcing, industry networking to promote a strong pipeline of qualified talent.
Collaborate with staff managers to understand their staffing needs and establish hiring priorities. Provide guidance and support throughout the hiring process to ensure a positive candidate experience.
Analyze recruitment metrics: track and report on key recruiting metrics (ie: time to fill, quality of hire, turnover) to measure effectiveness of hiring strategies and processes.
Conduct new employee orientations and onboarding. Prepare and distribute new hire paperwork and ensure all necessary documents are completed and filed. Complete verification of employment requests. Process and manage the I-9 files to ensure legal compliance.
Prepare monthly salary progression sheets to document pay adjustments for production-based employees and manage tracking mechanisms for increases and training.
Serve as point of contact for employee inquiries, assist in addressing employee concerns and resolving workplace conflicts in a fair and consistent manner.
Champion the lunchroom PPT and employee wall to ensure updates are entered and photos are added/removed at time of hire/termination, and coordinate employee recognition program.
Assist in the administration of the annual performance management and compensation review process.
*Education/Qualifications*
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field required.
3+ years progressive HR experience for manufacturing organization.
Proactive problem solver with passion for driving HR excellence and supporting employees.
Strong critical thinking, conflict resolution and balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledgeable in local, state and federal employment laws.
Proficient in computer skills, Microsoft Office and ADP.
Excellent communication skills and building relationships across teams and present complex information with clarity.
Must be trustworthy, maintain confidentiality, and dependable.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 42 per week
