Job Description
Salary: The Configuration Manager will support the development of innovative designs to challenging engineering problems for a wide variety of applications. The Configuration Manager will be responsible for the assignment and tracking of configuration items (CIs) through origination, approval, and release for design milestones and fabrication. The Configuration Manager will interface with a growing ATS team of engineers and designers, receiving requests for additions and edits to the configuration baseline.Execute and refine configuration management processesManage the progression of CIs through workflows in SolidWorks Product Data Management (PDM) and ensure deliverables are properly storedPerform final review of Drawings, Procedures, Specifications, and Bills of Material (BOMs) for accuracy and compliance with engineering and technical data standardsOversee the assignment, approval, and release of deliverables, working closely with project Systems EngineersManage customer coordination for Configuration Change Board (CCB) processReview outgoing CIs for alignment with configuration baseline and required features per internal and customer-enforced processesReview configuration management related SOW language prior to contract award, ensuring accuracy to technical and programmatic requirementsRequirements:5+ years of relevant experienceExperience with Configuration Management software such as SolidWorks PDMSecret DoD Clearance or ability to obtain a Secret DoD ClearanceDesired SkillsDesired experience as a PDM Administrator and/or implementing PDM workflowsDesired experience with engineering drawing developmentDesired experience with engineering drawing checkingDesired experience with systems engineering life cycle managementNote:ATS is a drug-free workplace.
