Reporting to senior legal leadership, this role requires a confident generalist who can provide autonomous legal counsel across a wide range of business matters in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.Responsibilities: Draft, redline, and negotiate contracts, leases, and commercial agreements across business units Provide legal advice on regulatory compliance, privacy laws, and insurance/service contract matters Manage outside counsel on litigation matters including discovery and document review Support M&A due diligence and integration activities Review marketing and training collateral for legal compliance Engage with trade associations and support membership activities Interface regularly with C-Suite executives on strategic legal matters Stay current on applicable law and bring relevant developments back to the teamRequirements: JD required; active member of a US State Bar in good standing 7+ years practicing law, majority as in-house counsel for a business of similar complexity Strong generalist background — breadth of experience valued over deep subject matter expertise in any one area Experience in regulatory compliance, insurance, or a regulated industry strongly preferred Proven ability to manage outside counsel with a focus on cost management M&A due diligence experience preferred Excellent communication and leadership skills Self-starter comfortable with autonomy and C-Suite interaction Travel required as business needs dictateInterested candidates should submit their resume for immediate confidential consideration.Interested in hearing more?
