OverviewChallenger Lifts, Inc., a division of Snap-on is seeking a candidate that would be responsible for assembling automotive lifts and lift components as assigned by the Production Supervisor. Pay is $17.86/hr plus an attendance incentive.ResponsibilitiesAssemble automotive lifts and components/accessoriesAssist in implementation of 6S initiatives and activities with emphasis on safetySuggest and assist in process improvements which assures quality, efficiency, and safety is built into the processAssist in fabrication processes as neededOther duties as assignedQualificationsAn understanding and ability to use assembly toolsCapable of reading a tape measureUnderstanding of blueprint readingExcellent communication skills. Must be able to communicate at all levels of the organizationStrong understanding of process interaction Strong problem solving skillsUnderstanding of general manufacturing Must be able to stand for long periods of time and work extended hours Must be able to periodically lift up to 45 pounds Must align with the Snap-on mission statement Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) which includes; Hi-Vis Vest, Steel Toe Shoes, Safety Glasses or Prescription Safety Glasses (If Applicable), Gloves (If Applicable), and Ear Plugs (If Applicable).
