That’s the reward.MissionDeliver safe, reliable weldments by following documented processes, owning quality, and keeping commitments to our customers and team.Your impactConfigure TIG equipment and related tools for aluminum of varying gaugesTack, weld, cut, and grind using electric, gas, arc, or other processesLay out, position, and secure components per drawings, specs, and blueprintsWeld manually or semi-automatically in flat, vertical, horizontal, and overhead positionsSet torch parameters—amperage, voltage, and gas—to achieve the right arc and bead profileKeep equipment in peak condition through preventive maintenance; troubleshoot and call for repairsComplete production and quality logs accurately and on timeMeasure with micrometers, calipers, gauges, and fixtures; perform thorough inspections of finished and in-process partsStandards that define successAttendance: Be on time, follow the schedule, stay engaged until tasks are complete, and limit unscheduled leave.Quality: We strive to “do it right the first time” so every product meets customer requirements.Safety: Always wear required PPE and follow safety rules, procedures, and policies.Accountability: Own your results and continuously improve.This job description is subject to change with or without notice.What you’ll needAt least 1 year of TIG welding experience or equivalent trainingAWS D1.2 TIG Certification (or ability to earn within 60 days)Pass the CIT weld testExperience with multiple welding procedures and setupsComfort with electrical and manual tools (saws, squares, calipers, etc.)Ability to interpret technical documents and blueprintsKnowledge of safety standards and commitment to PPE (face shield, gloves, etc.)Strong dexterity and keen attention to detailProcess commitmentFollow all procedures, work instructions, and operational processes; understand that failing to do so can elevate customer rejections, increase internal scrap, delay shipments, cause personal injury, and harm the environment.Immediately contain and report any nonconforming product to management.No supervisory responsibilities.Where and how you’ll workManufacturing environment with loud noise, fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, vibration, and chemicals referenced on Safety Data Sheets; expect moderate temperature changes during an eight-hour shift.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.Regular verbal communication and hearingFrequent standing, walking, hand use, reaching, climbing/balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawlingLift/move up to 25 lbs frequently; up to 75 lbs occasionallyClose and color vision with the ability to adjust focusSchedule, location, and toolsFull-time role8-hour day shiftOn-site, in personCommute to Richmond, IN 47374 (Preferred)Primary equipment: TIG WelderCore proficiency: Blueprint ReadingBenefits401(k) with company matchHealth, dental, vision, and life insurancePaid time offEmployee assistance programTuition reimbursementReferral programRequired experienceTungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding: 1 year (Required)
