This role offers strong exposure to enterprise systems and provides an opportunity to build expertise in application support, root cause analysis, and platform reliability.Work ScheduleThis role requires a Sunday-Thursday scheduleStandard workday hours apply, aligned to team needsYour Primary Responsibilities:Analyze application issues and incidents to identify root causes and prevent recurrenceProvide day-to-day production support for applications across mainframe and distributed environmentsMonitor application dashboards and alerts to proactively identify and mitigate potential issuesCollaborate with team members to resolve application alerts and escalate when necessaryMaintain and enhance runbooks, knowledge base, and standard operating proceduresSupport batch processing, job scheduling, and automation, ensuring processes meet expected thresholdsExecute Disaster Recovery (DR) procedures during planned or unplanned outages and capture required documentationProvide input into application design by identifying gaps and improving supportability and reliabilityPerform routine operational activities such as service account maintenance (e.g., password rotations)Resolve production defects and support minor enhancements as neededSupport audit requests by gathering required documentation and evidenceFollow risk and control processes as part of daily responsibilities and escalate issues appropriatelyQualificationsBachelor's degree preferred or equivalent practical experience3-6 years of experience in application support, production support, or similar roleTalent Needed for SuccessHands-on experience in application or production support environmentsExperience supporting mainframe applications (required)Working knowledge of Unix/Linux and Windows environmentsWorking knowledge of Unix/Linux, Windows, Mainframe, and SQL/PLSQLFamiliarity with SQL and relational databasesExposure to monitoring and observability toolsStrong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skillsExperience with incident, problem, and change management processes (ITIL preferred)Familiarity with job scheduling and batch processing systemsBasic understanding of application architecture and development conceptsStrong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teamsAbility to work in a fast-paced production support environment with a strong sense of ownership and urgencyThe salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
