The position’s primary purpose is to drive player endorsement of CCM’s latest product lines to support overall retail sales strategy and brand credibility while achieving sales and equipment usage targets. This role is also accountable for achieving company and departmental performance targets across NHL, AHL, ECHL, and NCAA teams.Main ResponsibilitiesStrategic Planning: Support the company direction by finding creative ways of getting players to use CCM products that drive and support retail sales Drive NCAA D1 business by signing teams to exclusive agreements Identify top grassroots prospects to enable early engagement, CCM product usage, and foster strong, long-term relationships with the players PlayerRelations: Able to create a trust relationship with players to maximize sales and exposure Service athletes in locker room. Available when special needs are requested Build and foster strong long-term relationships with players and equipment managersProduct Knowledge and Support: Understand all category product functionality and options for player gear Able to present different product quality to players with its variance Validate and report on product feedback when askedBudget / Sales: Manage and monitor samples monthly Manage and monitor T&E monthly Manage and monitor territory allotment budget Manage and monitor objectives and sales per territoryRequirementsTechnical / Professional Skills, Expertise and QualificationsExperience in sales, order taking, processing orders and hitting deadlinesDetail oriented and organized with specs and player codesExperience in equipment coordination for multiple hockey teams simultaneouslyExcellent aptitude for presentationExcellent Microsoft Office skillsGood knowledge of our products and custom options available to the playersStrong problem-solving skills—look for solutions, not problemsStrong ability to influence others with a teamwork mentality and relationship-building skillsSelf-motivated individual with the ability to focus on both departmental and individual growthAbility to effectively work remotely and when traveling to customers sitesExcellent oral and written communication skillsExceptional work ethic with high level of professionalismMeticulous attention to detailWHY JOIN THE CCM TEAM?Competitive salaries, including a Pro Sales Bonus program.
