DescriptionJob Overview:As a Package Handler, you will play a crucial role improving our residents' experience by ensuring prompt and precise package processing in our high-rise apartment buildings. As a part of our dedicated team, you will manage all package-related operations seamlessly, prioritizing convenience and security for our residents.Your Responsibilities:* Carry out the day-to-day tasks* Ensure that residents receive their packages on time and without damage* Develop, implement, and communicate packing and delivery strategies to streamline work* Receive and process all types of packages, and deliveries maintaining a flawless package management system* Sort and track packages from receipt by the building to receipt by addressee/package owner* Document custody transfers from receipt to delivery* Organize package storage area for efficiency and safety* Communicate effectively with team members and residents to issues related to package delivery or non-receipt* Safely perform physically demanding tasks, including pushing, pulling, bending, and lifting packages* Handle packages with the utmost care, skillfully avoiding any drops or abrupt movements that might result in injury or potential damageSkills & Qualifications:* High school diploma or equivalency preferred.* Effective written and verbal communication skills.* Multiple language fluency is desirable.* Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required.Physical Requirements:* Ability to lift 30 - 50 lbs.* Heavy lifting required (baggage handling)* Work in an upright standing or sitting position for long periods of time.* Handle, finger, grasp and lift objects and packages.* Reach with hands and arms.* Communicate, receive, and exchange ideas and information by means of the spoken and written word.* Ability to quickly and easily navigate the property/building as required to meet the job functions.* Complete all required forms.* Ability to work extended hours and weekends based on project requirements.* Ability to respond to emergencies in a timely manner.*What We Offer:As a full-time associate, you will be eligible for full comprehensive benefits to include your choice of multiple medical plans, dental, and Vision.
