Prepare items for shipment.Essential FunctionsPrepare items for ground carrier transport via wrapping and boxingUtilize hand tools to build crates to ship freight carrierSecure items by strapping to palletsUpdate item status in enterprise systemInput necessary data into vendor systems (FedEx Ship Manager, UPS Worlship, Purolator, etc.)Create electronic BOL and ship items via freight carrierOperate a forklift to load and unload freight carriersCrate and file customers paperwork through Boarder ConnectComplete and file broker paperworkReceive jobs from customers walk-ins and Account ManagersPlace job tags on itemsScan shipper and tag shipper to enterprise systemExamine items and compare with records to verify accuracyPaint components in preparation for shippingAll other duties as assignedEqual Opportunity Employer, including disability and protected veteran status.
