Facility is seeking Internal Medicine physician to join as a Faculty member --Compelling blend of academic leadership, clinical practice, and mentorship --Primarily outpatient with some inpatient responsibilities --Focus Areas: Research, Quality Improvement (QI), and Scholarly Activities --Lead and oversee: - All QI projects and scholarly activities - Research development and mentorship - Eight Morbidity & Mortality (M&M) conferences and eight journal clubs annually (co-led with a senior resident) --Teach and mentor residents and medical students in a collaborative, hands-on environment --Participate in Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS) training and education --Collaborative Faculty: Clinician educators committed to professionalism, communication, and mentorship --Accreditation: Continued accreditation with commendation by ACGME --Supportive Structure: - Capped ward rotations for manageable teaching loads - Diverse subspecialty support - Strong interdepartmental relationships --Resident Wellness: Emphasis on burnout prevention and wellness initiatives for both faculty and residents --Ideal Candidate Traits - Passionate about medical education and research - Experienced or interested in QI and scholarly work - Flexible, adaptable, and a strong team player - Committed to high-quality, patient-centered care
