Major Food Group  is hiring a talented and passionate Maitre  D  to join our team at Contessa ! Contessa   is the crown jewel of dining atop one of Boston’s most glamorous hotels,  The Newbury Boston . Delightfully re-imagined, this rooftop destination is inspired by the old-world resorts of Europe and the lasting estates of Italy where classic grand trattoria cuisine awaits. RESPONSIBILITIES : Oversee dining room operation in a restaurant Customer relations and ensuring guests receive impeccable service at all times Greet customers and guide them to their tables Answer customer questions regarding food, drinks, and specials Help flow of traffic in and out of the restaurant.
