VP of Finance

Job Description We are looking for a strategic and hands-on VP of Finance to lead the development of a scalable finance organization. This leader will shape the financial infrastructure, deliver meaningful insights to support executive decisions, and establish disciplined processes that keep pace with growth. The role is ideal for someone who combines strong technical finance expertise with the ability to build teams, improve operations, and support a high-growth B2B SaaS business.Responsibilities:Establish and scale the finance organization by creating foundational processes, internal controls, and operating standards.Lead financial planning and analysis activities, including long-range planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance modeling to guide business strategy.Oversee accounting operations and month-end close activities to ensure accurate reporting, regulatory compliance, and operational readiness for growth.Direct cash management activities and strengthen the order-to-cash cycle to improve collections, liquidity visibility, and short-term cash forecasting.Develop clear and reliable financial reporting packages for executives, board members, and investors.Select and implement finance systems and supporting technology that improve efficiency and provide a strong platform for expansion.Partner closely with senior leadership to evaluate business performance, support strategic initiatives, and recommend actions based on financial insights.Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance team capable of supporting a rapidly growing organization.Define and monitor key financial and SaaS operating metrics to assess company health and inform decision-making.Why this role:Rapid growth + recent Fortune 100 client winsClear path to CFO in the next 1-2 yearsEquity piece (targeting liquidity event within 3–5 years)High visibility with executive leadership and BoardOpportunity to build and shape the finance function from day oneHybrid (3 days in office) | Remote flexibility for the right candidateExperience building/scaling finance for a $30M+ company (SaaS or tech preferred)Strong FP& A with the ability to execute and operate strategicallyHands-on operator — not afraid to roll up your sleevesExperience with fundraising is a big plusBrings new ideas, innovation, and process improvementsDirect communicator with strong business acumen
